First, Blockbuster - now Netflix

According to a Reuter's article, Netflix is going Blu completely. It hurts big time, because I actually have an HD DVD at the house - Face/Off.

I have both now, but I still prefer HD DVD over Blu due to the Web features and lack of region locking. Oh well - the ignorant masses have spoken and have no probs trading freedom for a half-baked format.

Here's the story: http://www.reuters.com/article/rbssConsumerGoodsAndRetailNews/idUSWEN388420080211

HD DVD is a great format, apparently Toshiba is gonna throw in the towel tommorow.

Yes, it's an awesome format. I definitely enjoy the region-free and Web content on each HD DVD - but the studios weren't thrilled. It's sad that the lacking format known as Blu Ray will win it. I will eventually buy Blu, but if I had a choice, I'd opt for HD DVD all the way. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
