Houston Texans ♥♥♥ Xbox confirmed? Fo sho!

Texans chill room @ Reliant Stadium

Sure, the Nintendo Wii is el fuego on retail store shelves, and the Sony PS3 "does everything" but neither system seems to score with the Houston Texans, at least in their chill spot. Touchdown, Microsoft.

During a recent visit to Reliant Stadium to attend a Houston Texans clinic, M4DSki11z was able to confirm a couple video game tidbits about the Texans.

First, when asked about video games and if they play as themselves, Texans wideout David Anderson, No. 89, said he plays "Madden," but that EA messed up his stats.

"I called them - they got my stats wrong. I know I am NOT the worst player on the roster!" Anderson said.

Tight end Joel Dreessen, No. 85, said he enjoyed playing as his likeness in video games in his rookie season, but plays little after getting married.

And unlike tennis pro Andy Murray (who got dumped by his girlfriend after playing MW2 into a coma), the Texans usually get one day off every week during the season, which doesn't leave a lot of time to play video games.

The last tidbit which I found the most interesting was how often the Texans who participated in the clinic talked about Halo and the Xbox. On our tour, we got a chance to see the room where Texans check their e-mail, watch TV and get their video gaming on. Guess what? There were 4 systems in the room - and all were Xboxes and Xbox 360. Two Xbox 1s, two Elites. Games and controllers were scattered all over the floor like it was my son's room.

The man giving us the tour of Reliant Stadium said a few times "The players love to chill and play on the Xbox."

It makes me wonder if MS had a hand in giving the team free 360s or if the pro players with the Texans just love the Xbox? Hmmm ...

So, here's some visual evidence that when the Texans aren't hitting opponents or losing games, they get their game on with Xbox, Master Chief and Tiger Woods. Sorry PS3, sorry Wii, but these pros prefer Xbox.
